The Scrapcake tutorial at Scrapbook Boutique blog

Here is a layout that is completely different to anything I normally do, but I love it!

The lovely Evelyn from Scrapbook Boutique sent me some of these stunning "The Scrap Cake" papers to play with.  I must admit that they weren't a brand I am familiar with, but after seeing them in real life I will definately be keeping an eye out for them in future!

I created this layout using the "Spring Awakening Papers" including some 12x12 and 7x12 papers.

Scrapbooking Scripture and Scraphappykat FNC

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you"

Yesterday my beautiful baby girl turned 12!  Hard to believe that the tiny bundle of joy in this picture has grown into the beautiful young lady she is now-  with the kindest of hearts and most wicked sense of humour!

I wanted to find a piece of scripture for today's Scrapbooking Scripture Sunday that would reflect how special she is to us-  and then I found the verse from Jeremiah, and I looked no further!

I used the Scraphappykat Friday night challenge for this layout-  a colour challenge using the colours from the picture below!  I picked out the blue, white, green and purple to use.

"Good Friday" tutorial at Scrapbook Boutique

These papers just screamed at me to fussy cut and how could I refuse?!!!  The opportunity to cut and layer all these flowers was to good to pass up!

Stuck Sketches- May 15

Here is my entry for the Stuck sketches May 15th sketch, which I flipped over.

As is my Sunday tradition, I have included a bible verse for my Scrapbooking Scripture Sunday layout.  This time its a verse from Mark's gospel, and one that is in big and very colourful writing on the wall in our Parish House thanks to the Youth and Young adults who had "Go" as their camp theme earlier this year!

I think I used up just about all of the Echo Park "Playground: papers that have been in my stash for a while now!  Lucky I have some more Echo Park papers on their way!

"Chillax" Tutorial at Scrapbook Boutique
