Crafty Sketches

Hello again everyone!

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Crafty Sketches!  This month is a really interesting Page Maps sketch.

I scrapped some photos of Meg on our recent trip to the snow.

I've been having a sort out of all my scrapping supplies and came across these MME Christmas papers from a few years ago.  I loved the colours in them, but the snowflake paper didnt really work for our Aussie Christmas so never got used, but they were perfect for these photos!

Crafty Sketches- July

A new month, and a new sketch for Crafty Sketches.  This month its a Beggahuna sketch.

I made it a little different by using a ring of rhinestones instead of the heart!  

The papers I have used are from Alison Ellis designs, which were great for the elegant and glitzy feel I was going for with this layout.

Crafty Sketches- June sketch (created by me!)

It's the first day of June, time for a new season and a new sketch at Crafty Sketches!

This month it was my turn to design the sketch, and this is what I came up with.  

I used some of the beautiful October Afternoon papers,and a favourite photo from a camping trip we took in February 2011.

Crafty Sketches- April

The flower in the bottom left of the sketch kinda spread on my layout!  But I couldn't resist fussy cutting and layering all the gorgeous flowers in the Kaisercraft Tiger Lilly papers!

Crafty Sketches- March 2012

This months unique sketch at Crafty Sketches was created by Jules.  

I stuck quite closely to the sketch this month!  Unusual for me! LOL!

The pennants on the sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to use the Fancy Pants "Beach Babe" chipboard banners that I have had in my stash for a while now and never got around to using!!

I created mine using some of the Fancy Pants "Beach Bum" range.  I added dimensional magic to the circles on the page to give them some dimension and the illusion of bubbles.

Crafty Sketches- January 2012

This month I stuck fairly close to the  Crafty Sketches sketch!!  

The only real change I made was to swap the 4 small photos for one large photo.

These super fun Echo Park papers were ideal for the bright photo of Meg and Eleanor on the  slide at Eleanor's 3rd Birthday party.

Crafty Sketches- October

This month I got to set the sketch challenge at Crafty Sketches. The layout above is created using my sketch below!

I'm extra happy this month because my best friend Jen won the challenge last month, so she gets to be a guest DT and work with my sketch too!!!

I used some Crate paper products for this one- not my usual colours but I'm really happy with how it turned out!
