My "word" for the year has been HOPE- and I enjoyed making this banner for myself just to remind me of my word! I used Red, White and Black as they are the colours of the World Vision "Kids Hope" mentoring program that I have the privilege of coordinating at St Mary's Anglican church.
These are the new Kaisercraft pennants and I used Echo Park "For the record" papers.
Yesterday the lovely ladies at Scraphaven joined me for the first of my 5 part Echo Park classes. (And I dont mind saying I was so nervous before the first class started!!). Each week they will be completing a layout or two using either the Echo Park "Little Boy" or "Little Girl" kits. The classes are designed to be simple LO's to show everyone how much you can get out of one kit- and everyone is free to add their own extra embellishments etc to make the layouts individual!
The first day of the month brings a new sketch and examples from all of us on the Design Team at Crafty Sketches!
Here is my sample and the sketch it was based on, which was designed by the very talented Eve!
I used the new Kaisercraft "Party Animals" range with lots and lots and lots of fussy cutting! I used the ladder of animals in place of the vertical block on the left side of the sketch, and used animals instead of flowers for the elements on the sketch.
I cant wait to see all your entries this month!
