"Wombat Crew" tutorial

This month I had the chance to play with the Prima "Doodle Deux" collection for my design team projects at Scrapbook Boutique!

I normally associate Prima products with shabby chic petals and blossoms in pale, fairy like colours-  but this range has some really bold colours and wooden elements that were perfect for a unisex layout about our "Magic Moments" experience at Healseville Sanctuary with the baby wombats!

The full tutorial is available over at the Scrapbook Boutique blog and you can get all the products you need, as well as the other items in the Doodle Deux collection from the Scrapbook Boutique online store!

Have you entered the Scrapbook Boutique monthly challenge yet?

It's not too late to get your entries in!  All you need to do is complete a project that's "Fit for a Princess", inspired by this  image.

I made a card for my gorgeous niece, Eleanor, who turns 4 today!

I used a combination of October Afternoon, Echo Park and Kaisercraft papers, along with some MFT die-namics and an Angelina Ballerina image cut from a magazine.

Entry is open to all Australian residents, and you need to upload your creation to the Scrapbook Boutique blog. The challenge closes at midnight on June 30th, and the randomly drawn winner will receive a $30.00 voucher to spend in the Scrapbook Boutique store.

Scrapbooking Scripture Sunday

I'm uploading this week's Scrapbooking Scripture Sunday layout a little later than normal on Sunday.... but a troublesome wrist injury is making scrapping a rather difficult exercise at the moment!!!!

I have created this layout for "From Screen to Scrap" June's challenge, based on the movie poster from "Hairspray".    The extra criteria this month were multiple colours, hair related photo and 10 squares.

This time next week my Mum and Dad will be seeing the beautiful  little star of this layout- and I wonder if she'll still have these gorgeous braids that she had when she visited Australia in April last year?!!

My scripture for this layout comes from Psalm 139.

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."

Psalm 139:14  English Standard Version Anglicised

Focused

This week I've had a go at the monthly Daring you to Scrap challenge.

The challenge was definitely a challenge-!
"We dare you to Scrapbook a page about and with a photo of YOURSELF – using ONE word to describe YOU!"

I played around with taking a photo of me using my mobile phone, and decided on the word "Focused".

My scripture for today also fits really well with the theme!

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,
since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

2 Corinthians 4:18
